General Policies and Procedures

Additional policies and procedures exist that might or might not be applicable.

Hours of Operation

Information Technology, Computer Workstations, Electronic Resources

Library patrons are expected to comply with the ULL published policies on the use of computers and network resources. The policies are on the University's Web page. (http://www.louisiana.edu/InfoTech/Policies/comp_net.html)

Any questions about these policies should be referred to the Vice-President for Information Technology, Ms Della Bonnette.

Internet connections for laptops
The wireless Internet connections down the main corridor of the second floor stacks and elsewhere are to be used by UL students, faculty, and staff only. Non-UL laptop users will not be able to use the Internet because of the university's "Net Reg" regulations. All computer users who want to use the UL network must register their computers on the network and to do so must have a UCS account (CLID and Password). This UCS account is not available to non-UL patrons. This is a University Policy. For more information, go to Computing Support Services.

Library web pages are designed to be accessed by the visually impaired. Please contact the Reference Department to obtain assistance in locating books and services within the Library.
