Library Tours, Spring 2008

Library Tour Request Form

Library faculty will teach classes introducing new library users to Dupre Library. These introductory level tours will last 30 - 45 minutes. Emphasis is placed on introducing first-time users to the library's online catalog, iLink, and to generalized and specific online research databases. Classes are also provided for upper level courses and focus on specialized library databases and resources.

If Instructors wish to schedule a tour for an entire class, they must either submit the Library Tour Request Form or call the coordinator/department of Bibliographic Instruction at 482-6024 in advance of the preferred time slot. Consider alternative dates in case of scheduling conflicts. Evening classes are offered on a strictly limited basis.

The Spring 2008 Schedule has been replaced with a telephone/email request approach on a case by case basis.
