Full text periodical databases are only available to UL Lafayette faculty, staff and students.

Academic Search Complete   The world's most valuable and comprehensive scholarly, multi-disciplinary full-text database, with more than 7,900 full-text periodicals, including more than 6,800 peer-reviewed journals. Content also includes more than 11,900 abstracted and indexed journals. Academic Search Complete features PDF content going back as far as 1887, with the majority of full-text titles in native (searchable) PDF format.
     
Arts & Humanities Citation Index   A comprehensive index of the top scholarly research journals in the arts and humanities.
 
JSTOR   Complete runs of 117 important journal titles in 15 disciplines including Latin American Studies.
     
MLA Bibliography   The MLA International Bibliography, produced by the Modern Language Association of America, consists of bibliographic records pertaining to literature, language, linguistics, and folklore and includes coverage from 1963 to the present.
 
Lexis-Nexis Academic   Provides full-text documents from over 5,600 news, business, legal, medical, and reference publications.
     
Social Sciences Citation Index   A comprehensive index of the top scholarly research journals in the social sciences.

Selective, annotated subject bibliography of journal articles and monographs in the humanities and social sciences. Includes many Spanish and Portuguese publications. Since 1965, one volume on the social sciences and one on the humanities is published in alternate years. A summary article highlighting important publications precedes the bibliography for each field. Each volume has subject and author indexes. There is a three-year time lag in its publication (see HAPI for more up-to-date publications). The Handbook is available for searching online by connecting from the Reference Services and Resources page on the Latin American Library's website at the Library of Congress.

A standard reference source, HAPI is an annual Latin American Studies author and subject index to about 500 journals, in all languages, which are catalogued by the UCLA Latin America Center. Includes articles, documents, reviews, bibliographies and other materials. HAPI is available online (with links to full text) by individual subscription at http://hapi.gseis.ucla.edu/ (note that Dupre Library does not subscribe).
